This is a change from previous policy which had a lifetime ban for donation by any men who had had sex with other men. For those wondering, the ban was first set in place because technology had not quite allowed for proper screening of blood for HIV. This is a good thing. It’s stupid that that they have a restriction of “not had sex with other men in the past 5 years”. Restriction-free blood donation is necessary (some restrictions are okay. I mean if you have an STD, you shouldn’t be donating blood).

  1. The High school was destroyed in August 1990 by an F5 tornado a day before the first day of school. (It was the only high school in the school district at that time). They rebuilt it. I went to the rebuilt high school.
